School Social Workers

School Social Workers are trained  mental health professionals with a degree in

social work who provide services related to a person's social, emotional and life

adjustment to school and/or society.  School Social Workers are the link between

the home, school and community in providing direct as well as indirect services to

students, families, and school personnel to promote and support students' academic

OGHS Wellness Center officially opened in March 2022.

How it Works:
The Wellness Center is a safe space for all students. Students can drop in before, during nutrition break, lunch, and after school. The Wellness Center can be accessed during class time with a pass from their teacher or if a student is in crisis. For most check-ins, students will return to class after 15 minutes in the Wellness Center.

Student Expectations:
  • Students must go to class first at the beginning of the period.
  • Students must have a pass if it is during class time.
  • Respect privacy and space.
  • Demonstrate compassion.
  • Limit missed class time.

Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 am - 4:00 pm
