Kevin Myers was born and raised in Los Angeles and relocated to San Diego to attend college, graduating from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is married to his college sweetheart and is the proud father of two sons. Outside of school, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, staying active, and exploring great food.

Mr. Myers began his career in education teaching middle school Science, before joining the EUHSD teaching Biology and AP Psychology at San Pasqual High School for 10 years. He later served as the school’s Intervention and Attendance Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) while earning a master’s degree in educational leadership and his administrative service credential with the aspiration of transitioning into administration. For the past 11 years, he has proudly served as Assistant Principal at San Pasqual High School.

As a school leader, Kevin believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and collaboration are the foundation of student success. He is passionate about supporting teachers, empowering staff, and creating a positive school culture where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. Kevin has extensive experience in instructional leadership, school improvement, site operations and safety, special education, and building meaningful partnerships with families and the community. He is committed to continuous growth and believes that every decision should be guided by what is best for students.

In recognition of his leadership and commitment to students, Mr. Myers received the Escondido Union High School District Lighthouse Award in 2021. He is also a Certified International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP) Trainer of Trainers, reflecting his commitment to restorative practices and creating inclusive, relationship-centered school communities.

For the past two summers, Mr. Myers has had the privilege of serving as Summer School Principal at Orange Glen High School. Those experiences deepened his appreciation for the Patriot community and strengthened his commitment to supporting every student’s success.

Mr. Myers is deeply honored and excited beyond belief to serve as Acting Principal at Orange Glen High School. He looks forward to partnering with students, families, staff, and the community to build upon Orange Glen’s proud traditions and successes while creating an environment where every student feels connected, challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
