Sandy Hook Promise

Our district, along with EUSD, charter schools, and private schools in the city, has partnered with Sandy Hook Promise. Sandy Hook Promise is an organization born from the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary and focused on stopping violence on school campuses. We will be participating in a program called “Say Something,” which seeks to empower students to tell a trusted adult or use the “Say Something” app if they are worried about shootings, violence, suicide, or other harmful acts. We will begin the rollout by showing all of our students a 30-minute long video during a special, extended PRIDE period on October 10th.

All facets of NJROTC, including, supply/inventory, administrative, academic, morale, and safety programs will be reviewed by our Area Manager.
