Tyson Smith is excited to join Orange Glen High School and serve the students, staff, and greater school community. He has worked in the district since 2014, spending eight years as a Spanish Teacher at Del Lago Academy before serving the last four years as an administrator at San Pasqual High School. He is passionate about learning new things and applying that knowledge to better support students, families, and staff.

Mr. Smith earned his bachelor's degree in Foreign Language Business/Spanish and his Master's degree in Education Administration, both from California State University San Marcos. He is grateful for the relationships this work allows him to build and looks forward to continuing that work within the Orange Glen community.

Outside of school, Mr. Smith values spending time with his family, his faith, and he enjoys surfing.
