Middle College at Orange Glen High School

Middle College at Orange Glen High School helps students achieve college success while in high school. Students can earn 30 units of transferable credit, or more, by taking high school and college classes at the same time. Students will take their high school classes with Orange Glen Middle College teachers and take one or two college courses with Palomar College each semester. Support and intervention are built into the school day for Middle College students.

What is Middle College?
  • A partnership between EUHSD & Palomar Community College that offers students dual enrollment.
  • A small cohort of students will take high school requirements at Orange Glen High and attend
college courses at Palomar Community College concurrently.
  • Students will earn a high school diploma and one year, or more, of transferable college credit.

Vision: All scholars will graduate with one year, or more, of college credit and will be prepared and confident to pursue a post-secondary opportunity. Purpose: We seek to create opportunities for scholars to empower themselves to achieve higher educational outcomes.
