Physical Education can be as fun and rewarding as you make it. This year the freshmen classes will be focusing on Individual and Dual Sports.Sophomore classes emphasize Team Activities and Jr./Sr. classes focus on Personal Fitness. The California State Standards dictate what each class will be taught.
All freshman will be taking the Fitness Gram Physical Fitness Test in the spring. Students must pass 5 out of 6 tests. The tests test: Cardiovascular Fitness, Upper Body Strength, Core Strength, Flexibility and Body Composition. If a student passes this test they are exempt from taking 2 years of Physical Education in grades 10-12.
