On December 1st Alberto Felix was notified that he was matched with Swarthmore College via the QuestBridge Scholarship process. This is a prestigious scholarship and quite an accomplishment for Alberto. Please congratulate him on a job well done.

Seven OG students and a few of the parents walked with Ms. Coffin and Ms. Gray on Saturday for the Best Buddies Friendship Walk. Two additional OG students showed up at 7:30 to volunteer. Everyone made the two miles and had a blast!

Britney Chau won both of her singles matches yesterday at the CIF Girls Singles Championships, and advances to the 3rd round on Wednesday when she will play Torrey Pines’ #1 player. If you see Britney, please congratulation and offer her warm wishes for a great match!

GEAR UP will be hosting its first College Application Workshop this Wednesday, November 15, from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the College and Career Center. Experts from Study Smart Tutors will be here to help students with their college applications. All seniors who complete a FAFSA application by 11/30 will receive $10 off grad night. All seniors who complete a palomar college app will receive another $10 off of grad night. Visit room 308 for your discount.
