Congrats to Brandon Jara, Musket EIC

This past weekend, six of our students went to Cal State Northridge for a journalism workshop, hosted by the LA times. There were more than 40 schools and 200 students in attendance. In addition to sessions on writing, editing, leadership and multimedia, the workshop also included a writing contest. Brandon Jara took third place in the Newswriting competition! He definitely showed everyone what PRIDE looks like and made OG proud.

Other notable students who attended: Belen Torralba, Jackie Avila, Elizabeth Garcia and Alondra Arizmendi.
