Current Event is due.  Follow the guidelines in the requirements letter handed out the first day of class.  These are due every six weeks; you do not need to wait until the end of the next 6 weeks to turn it in.  Also a good news article can be presented to class for extra credit; a thorough written summary must also be included.

Lab Write up on "The Best Insulation Material" is due.  Make sure to follow the guidelines for all four sections of the lab (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion) and don't forget to include your resources.

Read the second half of Chapter 26 and answer the question handout or take notes on sections 26-4 to the end. Questions attached below.

Write up a rough draft of the Introduction for your first lab, "What is The Best Insulating Material?". Research information on insulation and find out about how it is rated.  Also look up in the textbook about the three ways heat is transferred. Discuss how insulation is a way to save energy.  Don't forget to lead into your experiment and state your hypothesis. Attached below are the general requirements for lab write ups as well as a description of this first lab.

By finding the answer in the book or your notes, correct 10 of the Chapter 1 & 2 Test questions that you got wrong and explain why its correct. Give the page numbers where you found it in the book also. If you got less then 10 wrong, correct all incorrect answers.

Finish "Free Market Graph Analysis". Make sure to label the lines on the graph, label the axes with words and numbers and add a title to the graph. By looking at your graph and using pages 584-585 in the text, answer the questions.

Read the first half of Chapter 26 through 26-3 and answer the questions (will hand out Monday or attached below) or take notes. 

Study for first test: chapter 1 and 2. 50 multiple choice questions and one essay (FRQ like in the AP exam. Test is Monday the 31st. Taking the online quizzes for each chapter or doing some of the other review activities on the book's website may help you get prepared.
