Our incoming 9th-grade course selection night will be held on Wednesday January 28th, 2026. Families will have the option to attend a presentation at Orange Glen or participate virtually. Packets containing more detailed information will be distributed to the feeder middle schools (EUSD & SPU) the week of January 5th, 2026. Please get in touch with them for packet information. If your student will be in Middle College, you MUST attend in-person.
La reunión informativa sobre la selección de aclasses para los alumnos que ingresarán a noveno grado se llevará a cabo el miércoles 28 de enero de 2026. Las familias tendrán la opción de asistir a una presentación en Orange Glen o participar de forma virtual. Se distribuirán folletos con información más detallada en las escuelas secundarias de origen (EUSD y SPU) la semana del 5 de enero de 2026. Para obtener información sobre los folletos, comuníquense con dichas escuelas. Si su hijo/a va a estar en Middle College, DEBE asistir en persona.
If your last names begins with:
A-L: Presentation will begin at 5:30pm
M-Z: Presentation will begin at 7:00pm
*Please arrive 30 minutes early to check-in at the Main Gym*
If you are unable to attend the event, please drop off your completed packet any time before January 30th in our Counseling Office between the hours of: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. Additionally, please complete the course selection google form prior to turning in your packet to OGHS.
Si no puede asistir al evento, por favor, entregue su paquete completado en nuestra oficina de orientación en cualquier momento antes del 30 de enero, en el siguiente horario: de lunes a viernes, de 7:30am a 4pm Además, por favor, complete el formulario de selección de cursos de Google antes de entregar su paquete en OGHS.
The completed packet must contain the following / El paquete completo debe contener lo siguiente:
1) Student Information Form (SIS)
2) Home Language Survey
3) Incoming 9th grade Course Selection Google Form (this will be completed the night of the event)
If no packet is received for your student, classes will selected for them / Si no se recibe ningún paquete de información para su hijo/a, se le asignarán las clases automáticamente.
