Parent Education
Orange Glen High School is dedicated to working with parents to help their students succeed in school and beyond. Parent Education programs and classes are offered throughout the year.

Note: Every PTSO & Title 1 program will begin with a question and answer session with a school administrator who will discuss parent concerns and suggestions for school improvement.

Open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Join us at our new parent center.  Our center offers daily workshops of interest to parents, computer access and school personnel to help parents deal with any issue.
Our Parent Liaisons are always available to help parents with any problem, and to help in understanding the educational system.  Mor information at 760-291-5023.

Tuesdays: Getting Your Kids Ready for College

Join the Orange Glen parents and parents from throughout the city as we explore all aspects of helping our students improve themselves and reach their maximum potential.  Learn how to be an effective advocate for your student, and how to get other parents involved as well.  This training is specially designed for parent leaders. Success on the playing field and in the classroom take a combination of focus, dedication mental well being and physical strength. What we eat is an extremely important part of the equation for success. Join nutritional experts for this vital program on how to help students be more successful in all aspects of their lives. See what the school is doing to ensure that the meals we offer are the healthiest possible. Jointly sponsored by the OG Athletic Boosters, PTSO and Office of Title 1.
