Principal Call out Message for 9/28/09
Hi this is OGHS principal Tom Allison. I am calling you tonight with a very important message. We have been informed that there has been a confirmed case of Tuberculosis or TB on our campus. In conjunction with the County Department of Public Health Services we are taking the necessary steps to provide information and guidance on the appropriate actions that should now be taken.Today, letters were sent home to those students believed to have been exposed and exposed teachers have been notified. If you receive this letter, please sign and return the test consent form to the Orange Glen High School nurse’s office. At this time it is suggested that only those identified students and staff receive a TB skin test. Please be assured that we, along with San Diego County health professionals, are here to help you and your family with any questions or concerns you may have. On Thursday, October 1, 2009, staff from the County TB Control Branch will be providing a health education session in our gym at 6:30 p.m.The health and safety of all students remains a top priority for us. Your cooperation and the participation of your child will help to keep OGHS strong and healthy.
